Why RHA: freshman year, I was thinking about becoming an RA and heard that being in RHA would help me get my name in housing and around the campus and that by doing the RHA Cub programs it would help me get a feel of what RAs have to do hurt ultimately I didn’t feel like the RA job would suit me but I still wanted to be in an organization that I know gets involved around campus and is a close net group of people and that’s exactly what RHA is.
Why President: all throughout freshman year I was given different campus involvement tasks through RHA and grew really close to the organization, the executive board, and adviser. So when I was approached if I would want to be on exec board I didn’t really have to think about it. I knew I wanted to be involved but I just didn’t know how. It wasn’t until I had talked with the past president and advisor about me running that I knew I wanted to be present of this organization and see where I could take it. The past president and advisor were behind me 100% and knew I would succeed as president and knew the organization would only grow from here. RHA has a new meaning to me now that I am entering my presidency term, it’s more than an organization. It helped shape me into the leader that I am becoming and gave me the confidence I needed to feel to lead an organization
